What is Decentralized Finance? How does it work? Whay is DeFi considered a 'Game Changer' in the Finance Industry?
Decentralized Finance, or DeFi, refers to a financial ecosystem built on blockchain technology, specifically using decentralized applications (dApps) and smart contracts, which are self-executing agreements with the terms directly written into code. DeFi aims to create an open, transparent, and accessible financial system by eliminating intermediaries, such as banks and other financial institutions, thereby giving users more control over their assets and financial transactions.
DeFi is considered a 'Game Changer' in the finance industry for several reasons:
Democratization of finance: DeFi platforms offer various financial services, such as lending, borrowing, trading, and investing, to a wide range of users regardless of their location, wealth, or credit history. This promotes financial inclusion and provides opportunities for people who have been traditionally underserved by traditional financial institutions.\

It is predicted that entire Metaverse Ecosystems will have their economy as a Decentralized Finance economy with very little interaction to traditional banking. This DeFi economy willbe complete with lending, borrowing, investing, savings and all other investment vehicles found in the traditional banking and finance industry.
