Blockchain will play a vital role in the Metaverse for Art. Blockchain will allow creation of;

· Self-Sovereign ID’s and DiD’s where users ‘OWN’ and control their identity. They can reveal any parts of their identity as they wish.

· Blockchain will allow the creation of ‘Asset Identification Tokens’ or NFT’s (Non-Fungible tokens). These tokens will be unique and only one will exist per Asset.

· Blockchain will allow for the creation of ‘Smart Contracts’ that define the terms of the agreements. These agreements and terms will be coded in ‘software code’ and will be immutable, incorruptible and executable to the extent of the smart contract.

· Blockchain will allow for the creation of a ‘Native Currency’ in the metaverse that will serve as the currency of the Metaverse for Art ‘Economy’. It will be easily exchanged and used in instant transactions seamlessly with complete transparency and auditability of transactions.

· Blockchain will ensure the permanency of records on various decentralized and distributed blockchain storage networks. Digital Images of Art Assets and NFT’s will remain safe and tamper-free on blockchain.

· Blockchain will permit the use of decentralized GPU/TPU computing power available on demand to artists and users who want use Generative Ai models to enhance and uplift their creations.
