"Washing one's hands of the conflict between the powerful and the powerless means to side with the powerful, not to be neutral."

You see, there are countless such quotations that echo the same themes of systemic justice, equality before the law regardless of economic status, and, the need for transformative rather than merely charitable approaches to addressing injustice’.

They span continents and millennia, yet all speak to the universal human aspiration for justice, dignity, and systemic transformation rather than mere charity.

All these people were amazing human beings who shared their wisdom with us. How many among us have even bothered to take any meaningful action.

We all look at each other to do something but fail to act ourselves.

This is the main reason why humanity collectively has been so indifferent to the most fundamental illness that humanity suffers from.
