An Ecosystem for Justice Built on Cardano Blockchain and powered with Generative AI

ABSTRACT

Introducing the Insaaf Token (also known as the ‘Justice Token’) A Blockchain Project for Justice (or Insaaf)

This is a concept paper for an Ecosystem for Justice, built on Cardano Blockchain and powered with the 'Insaaf Token' and Generative AI.

‘Insaaf’ means ‘Justice’ in native Arabic and Urdu Language. This paper introduces an ecosystem built on Cardano Blockchain designed to facilitate justice to all those who suffer injustice due to Corruption or other reasons. Most victims lack Finances and other resources to counter Intimidation and bullying by the Powerful Elite.

This ecosystem will be powered by Blockchain and Generative AI for providing;

- Governance of the Ecosystem;

- Crowd Funding For Litigation Financing;

- Agentic AI for Autonomous Workflow and Case Management;

- Document Processing, Management and Distribution;

- And, facilitate many other traditionally tedious functions including communication, social media broadcasting, engagement of people etc.

‘Insaaf Tokens’ for Justice can facilitate the process of ‘Justice for All’ by providing the victims access to the three main forces which are; ‘MONEY’, ‘MEDIA COVERAGE’ and, 'NON-STOP NAMING & SHAMING CAMPAIGNS'.

Lack of money to hire top notch lawyers and lack of money to fund media campaigns to keep the litigation process moving forward and the community voice in the front pages is one of the major reason why the influential culprits get away with injustice.

Generative AI and Blockchain technologies combined can enable the aggrieved to overcome the 'money’ and ‘media’ obstacles and facilitate the 'social name and shame campaigns' that can serve as a deterrent for other culprits.

There are three main factors that Insaaf Token specifically targets;

1. MONEY: Money gives Access to the best Lawyers and Investigative Reporters to carry out the litigation successfully.

2. MEDIA: This means using Mainstream and Social Media to keep the issue or case alive in the front pages and headlines. Most mainstream media if not all respond to commercials and advertisements revenue – and sometimes ‘breaking news’ stories.

3. NAME AND SHAME: This is to ensure that the entire world knows of the culprits and their deeds, and keeps track of their whereabouts. Using Ai and social media tools, it has now become practical to Name and Shame culprits perpetually whenever and wherever they are spotted.

There are two additional factors addressed by the funds in the Insaaf Coin - whistle blower rewards and fair-play rewards that keep the issues and cases on the front pages. Here are these two;

a. WHISTLE BLOWER: Funding for Witness Protection for Whistle Blowers. Most people fear reporting a crime or corruption out of fear of losing their job and even their life. This can be solved by providing a citizens funded Witness Protection and financial aid source.

b. FAIRPLAY REWARDS: Generous Rewards to the 'Enabler Class' for upholding the constitution and the law and protecting the citizen's. (The Enabler Class is the select class of officials who act as 'middleman' for the criminals against the citizens). This typically includes Judges, Bureaucrats, Police Officials, Media Channels, Anchors and other influencers who carry out the orders). Basically this reward is to discourage bribes and incentivize the target to not do the wrong thing.

In the 3rd world countries, where the justice system only serves the rich and powerful, and where the citizens are helpless (often to the level of collective helplessness), the community can use modern information technology to fight back.

Generative AI and Blockchain, are both emerging and disruptive technologies that have the potential and promise to remove the traditional barriers that prevent the facilitation of justice, such as access to funding of cases, investigative expertise, transparency and accountability.

It is not just the 3rd world alone but many developed countries where litigation costs are high and many worthy cases can’t be pursued by people with nominal means. With this ecosystem in place, they will also benefit from the AI Blockchain for Justice.

This ecosystem will provide the necessary financial, media and logistics support to the victims so that they are able to defend themselves (as a defendant or a plaintiff) and litigate their claim anywhere in the world!
