Media has no economic incentive to follow up on past reported stories of fatal and serious incidents, damages to civilian lives and property and holding the responsible offices accountable.

These major flaw in legal systems in the 3rd world are the root cause of money flight, devaluation of currency, inflation, increase in poverty and overall 'economic loss'. The poor people suffer the most from vexatious cases, adjournments and delays. The cost to them is so much that at times they just can't pursue their cases and give in to the perpetrators. Some are even drive to commit suicide out of helplessness.
