Political Victimization

Corruption and an impotent Judiciary is the main cause of victimizing those who speak up. People are kept in jail for voicing opinions that the Government does not agree with. Subjective arguments are made by Govt. in power to imprison peaceful demonstrators and cause them harm when under custody. The poor once again suffer the most. The cycle of injustice has its roots in suppressing dissident voices and whistleblowers. The powerful and the rich (aka Government and Bureaucracy) use their resources to unjustly influence politics and wipe out dissident voice resulting in a clearing path for them to loot and steal more, loot more, bully more and ruin the state institutions.

Many honest politicians are framed with bogus cases one after another. If they are able to get a bail in one case, they are arrested immediately again in another cooked up case once they leave court rooms. Their families are threatened and their elders are abducted and put behind bars until the Politician submits to the powerful forces demands.

Honest Politicians usually do not have resources to enter prolonged litigation against such powerful forces.
