In this video I'm going to be covering oil it's a voice separation AI app that's free to try right now. The only thing you need is access to the internet you have to be online for this thing to function but essentially it's a free version of waves Clarity VX so if you haven't heard about waves Clarity VX I'll have a video about this and I will link this in the description but let's Dive Right into this so for this example I have just a short clip I got from YouTube so you have music flung off the edge of a building that's changing shape or it was a little bit of dialogue and music so I want to let's say we want to separate this dialogue and the music in this clip right here flowing off the edge of a building that's changing shape or it was really fun it's not everything so I'm going to actually turn up the volume on this section here and whatever all you're using it doesn't really matter but I'm just turning up the volume in this section every day you flung off the edge of a building that's changing shape or it was really fun it's not every day now I have the little clip I want I'm going to close this video out we don't need that so Clarity BX it does a phenomenal job you turn one knob and it pretty much gets rid of most of the noise there there's two settings for this neural network it was really fun it's not everyday you flow off the edge of it and it says you know the for better for severe Ambience noises mostly main vocals so for this

example I'd probably just keep it on the one setting you don't necessarily need to have the double analysis for this building that's changing shape or you can hear it got rid of the music and stuff right so that's clearly VX they have the pro version which essentially has the same settings but you have these Advanced controls where you can kind of fine tune it a little further and of course you know it sounds great but yeah you can really really fine tune specific frequencies you want to like effect and leave alone so Goyo is a free app like I said it works wonderfully so I'll have this as its default setting here and then you can also you know play around with this if you want to but it was really fun it's not every day you flung off the edge of a building that's changing shape I'm going to pull down the ambience and probably some of the voice Reverb that was really fun it's not every day you've flown up the edge of a building that's changing shape or that was really fun it's not every day you flung off the edge of a building that's changing shape you can still hear some music in there you can also switch it to stereo mode my computer doesn't like that I'll keep it at manual every day you've flown up the edge of a building that's changed there is some music in there but you can hear it significantly significantly drop down so just to kind of solo that I'm going to actually bring just the ambience and the voice Reverb back up [Music] foreign so this is all the noise that it's picking up as ambient noise so you hear music it is getting some of the voice but for a free app that's not too bad like this is what it's eliminating it's changing shape that was really fun it's not everyday you flung up there it's like the best thing that's changing shape or it was really fun it's not everyday you flung up the edge of a building that's changing shape so again this is completely free and it works great so let me see if I can find another example of how this can actually clean up some audio so be back in a second for the second example here I'm going to be using a track by half rotten goddess and here is the comparison of using Clarity VX versus Goyo this is bypass [Music] to you [Music] so I'm going to just Loop that section and then I'm going to unbypass this and just turn this knot foreign I mean you can hear this severe audio degradation in the voice right it's like yeah I got rid of the music foreign but that's waves Clarity so let's try

Goyo and see what that can do so here again is the original audio [Music] have this sentence like little default thing there and I'm going to unbypass this foreign [Music] I hate honestly surprisingly I would say Goyo kind of cleared this up a little better [Music] but then the difference is you can always refresh the neural network and sometimes they'll do a better job so it's kind of a depends let's let's try this again so I'm going to refresh this morning so that when I hear less artifacting what I do hear is a lot more music leaking through interesting let me just skip ahead to another section [Music] and then just to hear like this is the ambient Noise by itself [Music] and then this is a Reverb invoice [Music] but yeah it's doing a great job like it's very very good for what it is for free so if you are on a you know micro budget and you can't afford Clarity VX I would say get that because it's just I'd say it's more versatile and you can do a little bit more but if you're on you know budget like me looking for a free 99 stuff go yo is a good way to go it does a great job at separating the voice I mean it's free so that is like in a nutshell Goyo very simple interface just three knobs to turn have it in Stereo mode or mono mode there's really no presets here I mean within your doll I imagine you can save your presets like you can in Adobe edition but yeah just three knobs to turn works wonderfully well for what it is what do you guys think about Goyo have you tried it out before if not give it a go by the way I'm not sponsored by any of these apps I just wanted to review this thing and give some little tips and tricks to y'all so for diving into the world of audio for mixing whether it's for film from music for whatever this is a handy tool to have in the Arsenal all right y'all I will talk to you soon be sure to like subscribe and you know what to do
