Auto-captions

To use Auto-captions, follow these steps:

  1. Import your video to Clipchamp.

  2. Click the "Captions" tab on the property panel.

  3. Click the "Turn on autocaptions" button.

  4. Select the language of your video.

  5. (Optional) Check the box to filter out profanity and offensive language.

  6. Click the "Play" button to playback your video with Auto-captions.

Once your Auto-captions are ready, you can edit them by clicking on the captions in the timeline. You can also change the font style, size, and color of your captions.

Here are some additional things to keep in mind when using Auto-captions:

  • Auto-captions are not always 100% accurate, so it is important to review and edit them before publishing your video.

  • Auto-captions are currently only available in a limited number of languages.

  • Auto-captions may not be able to generate captions for videos with very low audio quality.
