## Turn your SELFIES into AI ACTORS with Artflow\.AI‍

I’m going to show you how you can use Artflow to turn your photos into an actor, an actor into a fictional character, how to put that character into a scene, and create cinematic shots for animation.

### STEP 1:

Once you're on Artflow\.AI, go to Character Builder and choose the ‘actor’ tab.

* Click on 'Create your AI Actor', then 'browse' to select your photos.
* Remember to choose photos with a variety of clothing and head angles. At least some of them should be without a smile.
* Choose gender and age of your character, give them a name, and click 'Start Training'.
* The training will take between 10 minutes and half an hour.

Noe that there are also are plenty of ready-made Artflow\.ai actors to choose from.

### STEP 2:

Once you have an actor you like, you can use them to create a character.

* Click the 'Character' tab, then 'Create new character'.
* Write a prompt describing what they're supposed to look like.
* You can choose the face of an actor from the previous step, or select one of the many pre-generated AI actors. This is optional.
* Click 'Generate' to get a preview.
* Add a negative prompt if you want to exclude something. In this case, we don't need a helmet. It's going to make things difficult if we want the actor to talk.
* Once you're satisfied with your character, click 'Finalize'.
* Type in a name and save your character. Now you're ready to put them into a scene.

### STEP 3:

* Click 'create image' to go to Image Studio.
* Write a simple prompt.
* Choose a matching visual style.
* Set aspect ratio. Horizontal is best for narrative content.
* Use Director Mode to precisely set up the character angle and framing of your shot.
* Click 'generate' to get your images.

Proceed to generate all the shots and counter shots for your dialogue scene using a combination of the tools shown above.

### STEP 4:

Once you've created your shots, you can turn them into a video.

* Just click the 'Animate' button to go to Video Studio. It offers multiple camera motion effects and hundreds of AI voices.

Here's an example of what an animated scene could look like.

"So on top of everything else, I have to deal with your neuroses. You know what they say. I'm not afraid of death. I just don't want to be there when it happens."
