Deploying LLMs on Local Machine

LM Studio and Olama are both tools related to large language models (LLMs), but they serve different purposes:

LM Studio:

  • Focus: Olama is geared towards advanced users and developers with experience in LLM training and deployment. It offers more flexibility and control over the training process and model configurations.

  • Examples: Olama is used by researchers developing cutting-edge language models, as well as companies building their own internal LLMs for specific applications.


LM Studio and Olama can be used together. Olama is often used to train and fine-tune LLM models, which can then be deployed and used within applications built on LM Studio. They represent different stages of the LLM development and application process.
